Fairfax County’s Department of Public Safety Communications is responsible for dispatching the county’s fire and police units, and the public can listen to the original dispatches and transmissions between emergency personnel (feed available courtesy of Broadcastify). Franconia Volunteer Fire Department units are assigned the “405” and “437” radio codes.

Open House 2017: Stop by Fire Station 405 (6300 Beulah Street) and/or Fire Station 437 (7936 Telegraph Road) on Saturday, October 14, from 10am to 4pm to learn more and meet your local career/volunteer firefighters/EMTs. There will be educational, family-oriented activities as well as tours of the station, refreshments and more!
